Biographical / Historical
George N. Ottinger was born George Neslen Ottinger on October 17, 1873, in Salt Lake City, Utah to George M. Ottinger, the Utah photographer, and Phoebe Neslen Ottinger. He married Dora Lindskog on January 20, 1897; they later divorced. He married Esther May Cook on November 19, 1919, in Salt Lake City. They also divorced and he married Jeneva Johnson on June 23, 1926. George N. Ottinger worked throughout his life as a firefighter. He was also a photographer. He died on March 22, 1949, in Magna, Utah.
