Biographical History
James Roland Boone (1911-1987) was a Mormon district president and patriarch.
James Roland Boone was born 11 April 1911 in Glennville, Tatnall, Georgia, to Columbus Napolean Boone and Eliza Malinda Padgett. He served an LDS mission in Georgia and Mississippi in the 1930's. James married Ruth Flake on 30 September 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had thirteen children. James served as a district president and a patriarch for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He died December 1987.
