Contains the historical records of Geneva Nitrogen LLC, a chemical manufacturing plant originally built by Geneva Steel. Materials include incident reports, construction reports, specifications, drawings, blueprints and various papers. Also includes color and black and white photographs, transparencies, and negatives with images of the construction, grand opening, other events and day-to-day activities related to the company throughout its history. Administrative History

Geneva Nitrogen LLC is a chemical manufacturing company located in Orem, Utah. The plant was built by Geneva Works, Columbia-Geneva Steel Division of the United States Steel Corporation in 1957, the first nitrogen product plant of its kind. The company was still active as of 2022.
