Bear River Stake history and record books
Scope and Contents
Contains a ward history titled, "Brief History of Tremonton Second Ward," compiled by the Tremonton Second Ward historian of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, dated 1984. The history includes photographs, descriptions of the families in the ward, and the history and organization of previous wards. There are images of the members of the bishoprics ranging from 1927 to 1984. There are also two record books in the collection titled "Division Supervisors Roll and Record Book of Ward Teachers and Families" from the Fielding Ward in the Bear River Stake. These contain records of ward teacher assignments and visits from 1954 to 1959, although not all the inclusive years were recorded.

Biographical / Historical
The Bear River Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was organized in Box Elder County, Utah, in 1908. The Bear River Tabernacle was completed in 1914. Originally, the Tremonton and Fielding wards were part of the first ten wards, but later the Tremonton Ward split to create the Tremonton Second Ward as well.
