Scope and Contents
DVD contains materials pertaining to the lives of William Ernest and Oneta Bunnell Lichfield compiled by their granddaughter Cara Nmi Trullo. It includes interviews detailing their childhoods in Utah, time spent living in Iran, Ernest's mission in Norway, Ernest's career as an engineer, and their membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It also talks about time Ernest spent as a pilot in the United States Air Force. This memoir spans 1931 to 2011, from the beginning of their lives until their retirement, and includes scanned photos from their earlier years. Dated

Biographical History
Cara Nmi Trullo (1981) is the granddaughter of Ernest William Lichfield.
Cara Nmi Trullo was born in Colorado on the July 5, 1981. She attended and graduated from Brigham Young University. She is the mother of two children and is married to David Price. She is the granddaughter of Ernest and Oneta Lichfield.
Biographical History
E. W. Lichfield (1931-2020) was an engineer and a pioneer in the field of atmospheric balloon research and weather forecasting.
Ernest William Lichfield was born in Provo, Utah in the year 1931. He served a Latter-day Saint mission for two-and-a-half years in Norway then returned home to study engineering at Brigham Young University. While there he met and married Oneta Bunnell Lichfield. After his time at BYU he worked as an engineer for Lockhead in Burbank, California and as a pilot in the United States Air Force. He was the inventor of Global Horizontal Sounding Technique (GHOST) balloon apparatus for upper-level atmospheric data collection and was employed at the National Center for Atmospheric Research.

Oneta Bunnell Lichfield (1934- ) was the wife of Ernest William Lichfield.
Oneta Bunnel Lichfield was born in Treemonton, Utah, in 1934. She spent her young adulthood living in Iran where her parents were teachers. When she returned home she attended Brigham Young University on a scholarship and married Ernest William Lichfield.
