Lillie Williams was born Lillie Margaret Foster on October 3, 1923 in Cedar City, Utah, to Joseph D. and Theresa Knell Foster. She had five siblings. In 1943, she married Golden Lang in California before he left for service in world War II. After his death in 1945, Lillie cared for their daughter Margaret while living with her parents and working as a receptionist until she met and married Leo Ray Parker on December 1, 1948. During their marriage, they lived in Cedar City, California, and Hurricane, Utah. They had a son, Don Ray Parker born December 16, 1954. Lillie held multiple jobs through the years including receptionist positions, a secretary for North American Aviation, and as the Assistant Vice President of West Coast Federal Savings and Loan. He married Lillie Foster in 1943, and had one daughter, Margaret. He was a lieutenant in the Air Force and a skilled pilot. He completed thirty missions in the war in Europe and returned to Tennessee to be an instructor where he died in a head-on collision with another plane on April 26, 1945.
