The couple eventually settled in Pleasant Grove, Utah, and together had six children; John Joseph, Eleanor Jane, Isaac John, George Samuel, William Lehi, and Rachel Sarah Emma. Administrative History
The John & Jane Hayes of Clonakilty Family Organization (1974- ) is an organization formed to bring members of the Hayes family together, to further genealogical research on the family, and to share historical and biographical information on ancestors.
The John & Jane Hayes of Clonakilty Family Organization was created in 1974 by descendants of the family in order to bring members of the Hayes family together, to further genealogical research on the family, and to share historical and biographical information on ancestors. Through this organization, family reunions are organized, newsletters are published to communicate to family members on the progress of genealogical work, and various projects (including a grave marker for the Hayes family plot in Pleasant Grove) were undertaken. Although they have moved away from organizing annual family reunions, they do hold these regularly while managing a website to ensure that those who are interested in completing their genealogical work have a place to do so.
