Collection consists of 19 reels of American western-themed 16mm films, 13 film titles total, collected by the Norfolk Charitable Trust. Films are both silent and sound. Materials dated 1903-1978.

Biographical / Historical
The Norfolk Charitable Trust was created in 2010 and collects artworks, photographs, and artifacts documenting cultural significance.
The Norfolk Charitable Trust was previously the Kendall Whaling Museum Trust. The trust was renamed the Norfolk Charitable Trust in 2010. The mission of the Trust and the archive is to preserve and provide access to artworks, photographs, and artifacts of cultural significance.

The films were collected by and then stored in the Norfolk Charitable Trust archive until they were donated to BYU Special Collections in 2016.
