Bound autobiography of Cox, which discusses her early life in a polygamous family in Idaho, her missions to the Eastern States Mission and New Zealand, and her later family life, both as a wife and as a single mother. Most of the events discussed occurred in Idaho and Utah. The autobiography covers her birth in 1900 to about 1978.

Biographical History

Zina Kunz Hatch Fuit Cox (1900-1995) was a Mormon author from Idaho and Utah.

She was born Zina Kunz on March 31, 1900 in Bern, Idaho, the youngest of her mother's fourteen children. Her father, Christian Kunz, practiced polygamy, and her mother Caroline Buehler was his second wife. She was a teacher for several years before becoming a newspaper columnist in Shelley, Idaho, and later in life she wrote "The Hills of Bern," her life history.

Zina Kunz married Lenord Hatch in 1932, and together they had two children. He passed away in 1937, and she later married John Fuit in 1943 and had one more child. After his death in 1970, she moved to New Zealand and served in the temple there until 1973. After returning home she met and married Orville Cox in 1975.

Zina Kunz Hatch Fuit Cox died on July 6, 1995 in Shelley, Idaho.
