Collection of files, photographs, VHS and beta tapes, souvenirs and publicity material relating to the movie presentation system Cinerama. Tapes contain interviews with people involved with various Cinerama movies. Dated approximately 1950-2010. Bulk 1950-1965.

Biographical / Historical

David Strohmaier is a film editor and historian.

He studied at the University of Iowa film school. He has worked at major studios including Warner Brothers, the Walt Disney Company and 20th Century Fox. He has edited CircleVision and EPCOT documentaries for Disney parks. With Cinerama Adventure, Strohmaier is now working as a director and writer.
