Bigographical History

Robert Elvin (1846- ) was a Scottish immigrant who was a minister.

Robert Elvin was born on January 6, 1846, in Scotland; his parents from Scotland and Ireland. He became a preaching elder of the Josephites. On Febrary 13, 1870, he married Emeline A. (1846-Approximately 1897) and together they had at least 5 children. He immigrated to the United States between 1846 and 1850, settling in Missouri. After the Civil War, the family moved to Iowa, Nebraska, and back to Iowa. While he listed himself as a farmer or minister his whole life, listed his Religious belief as L. D. S. in 1895.

Elvin died sometime between 1910 and 1920.
