Biographical / Historical

Florence Green Marsh (1884-1974) was a Mormon immigrant.

Florence Green Marsh was born on June 5, 1884 in Pinxton, Derbyshire, England to parents Theophilus and Annie Amanda Scrivens Green. As a young girl her family moved to Wales where they were baptized into the Mormon church. At the age of 11 she came to America.

She married John Dabney Marsh on November 5, 1907. They lived in Utah and eventually moved their family to California.

Marsh passed away on June 8, 1974 in St. George, Utah. She is buried in Glendale, California.
