Biographical / Historical

Ethel Adolphia Shirley Clark (1876-1964) was a Mormon convert from Mississippi who lived in the Mexican colonies and later lived in Logan, Utah.

Ethel Adolphia Shirley was born February 16, 1876 in Attala, Mississippi to Jonathan Travis Shirley and Rebecca Jane Thraikill. She was baptized on April 29, 1901 and later immigrated to Utah. She married Arthur Benjamin Clark on September 29, 1903 in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. After leaving Mexico she eventually settled in Logan, Utah. She passed away in Logan on May 25, 1964.
