Scope and Contents

Photograph of the Provo East Stake's annual Christmas Fireside in the Provo Tabernacle, the last event held in the tabernacle. The photograph was taken on December 12, 2010, five days before the Provo Tabernacle burnt down. The image includes the stake choir and orchestra, as well as the stake presidency.

Biographical History

Joseph L. Garrard (born 1958) is a sound technician and photographer in Utah.

Joseph Lamar Garrard is a sound technician in the film industry, and a resident of Provo, Utah. He filmed and photographed the Provo East Stake Christmas Fireside in the Provo Tabernacle December 12, 2010.

The photograph was taken by Joseph Garrard then given to Steve Sotuyo who then donated it to the L. Tom Perry Special Collections through Ruth Ann Hay.
