Biographical history

Thomas Preston Wilding (1916-1989) served three missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Thomas Preston Wilding was born June 19, 1916 in Sugar City, Idaho, to Ellis Preston Wilding and Merle Grover Wilding. In 1937, he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Tonga. Thomas married Norma Vincent on October 15, 1941. He served in World War II. In 1949, Thomas and his family returned to Tonga on a building mission. In 1951, the family returned to Utah. In 1983, Thomas and his wife served a mission to help with the restoration of Nauvoo. He died May 30, 1989.
