Biographical History

Elizabeth Meriwether Huntley is a freelance harpist, who is the principal harpist of the Glens Falls Symphony and the editor of the American Harp Journal.

Elizabeth Huntley was born in Schenectady. She studied the harp and earned degrees from Union College, Boston University, and the New England Conservatory of Music. Elizabeth is the harp instructor at Adirondack Community College and Skidmore College. In 1998, she became the editor of the American Harp Journal. She also published "Pentacle: the Story of Carlos Salzedo and the Harp." Elizabeth has played in numerous productions, including Hubbard Halls, and does many solo programs in local libraries and nursing homes.
