Typescript copy of the original autobiography by Bell, describing his life between April 1827 to March 1855. The document also contains information about the work of Bell during his presidency in the Malta Mission from 1853 to 1855. Original document was written in Pitman shorthand. The transcription is dated November 1998.

James Ferguson Bell (1827-1855) was a Mormon convert and missionary from England. He served as president of the Malta Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
