Collection contains the various postcards, advertisements, letters, and other papers found in his books. The materials are mainly smaller items that were used as bookmarks, and vary from German postcards from von Witzleben's early life in Germany to receipts he obtained while living in California. An index of materials is included. The collection dates from circa 1927 to 1982.

Custodial History note

Materials were donated together with a collection of books by Henry Detlev von Witzleben. They were then separated from the books during processing and arranged into their own collection.
