Collection consists of newspaper articles and images concerning the history of Fredonia, Arizona. The collection dates from 1984 to 1985 leading up to Fredonia's centenial celebration of 1985. Included are descriptions of the Mormon pioneer founders of Fredonia, historical sites, and prominent events in Fredonia's history.

Biographical History

Preston Brooksby (1933- ) was born in Fredonia, Arizona, and a descendant of many of the town's founders and prominent citizens. He was the general chairman of the Fredonia Centennial Committee in 1985.
