Oral history interview with Tom Jones on 11 and 12 July, 1972, connducted by Daniel Kelly for the Utah State Historical Society and California State University, Fullerton Oral History Program. The subjects are: experiences as a sheepherder, at Saint Christopher's Mission, and Navajo stock reduction. Tom discusses his jobs in the mining and sheepherding industries and his current life and past memories of the Navajos in Saint Christopher's Mission. Bound manuscript, 25 pages, index included.

Biographical History

Tom A. Jones was born in Utah. At age fourteen he went to work in Saint Christopher's Mission in Bluff, Utah. Thereafter he was employed as a sheepherder, in the Geneva Steel Mill in Provo, Utah, on a railroad, in uranium mines and then back at the mission.
