The Marian Hintze Monson collection of Henrietta Jones and Ferdinand Friis Hintze Jr. letters were compiled by Marian Hintze Monson. The letters were written between Henrietta Jones and Ferdinand Friis Hintze from August 8, 1907 to August 13, 1908, the year before their marriage. The letters primarily deal with their courtship. The material contains a brief forward written by Marian Hintze Monson, the youngest daughter of Ferdinand and Henrietta.

Biographical History
Marian Hintze Monson was born 17 August 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the daughter of Ferdinand Friis Hinze Jr. and Henrietta Jones. She married Samuel Christian Monson on 3 September 1948.
