Scope and Contents note
Two scrapbooks (20 by 25 inches each) and four posters concerning the 1968-1969 Liquor-by-the-Drink proposal. Scrapbooks contain newspaper clippings, voting district coordinator's records, correspondence, speaking appointment calendars, graphs, pamphlets, propaganda, advertisements and an Improvement Era article by Elder Gordon B. Hinckley.

Richard A. Van Winkle collected papers about Liquor-by-the-Drink. The Liquor-by-the-Drink proposal of 1968 would have licensed private establishments to dispense wine and alcohol.
