Contains research material printed from microfilm by Albert Winkler. Material includes fourteen different autobiographies, biographies, family histories and journal excerpts, and a brief paper about the Parowan Pioneers. Albert Winkler has provided handwritten summaries of the lives of most of these individuals. Dated 1790-1909.

Biographical History
Albert Winkler is the senior librarian at Brigham Young University.
Albert Winkler is the American and British History librarian at Brigham Young University and has been a senior librarian since 1979. He received his BA and MA from Utah State University in 1973 and 1976, an MA from the Catholic University of America in 1980, and an MLS and PhD from Brigham Young University in 1981 and 1982, respectively.

Custodial History note
These items were once part of a much larger Albert Winkler collection. After slave narratives and other items were made into their own collections or combined with appropriate manuscripts, these biographies remained. They were donated by Albert Winkler sometime before 2008.
