Biographical History
Bryan Dell Cox (1925-2009) served twenty years in the Air Force, including World War II and near Vietnam.
Bryan Dell Cox was born January 29, 1925 in Provo, Utah. He grew up in West Provo and served in World War II. He was shot down in German-occupied Yugoslavia and was rescued by German resistance fighters. They traveled mostly on foot to Hungary, then on train to Romania where Cox was finally flown home. He served a total of twenty years in the Air Force, including near Vietnam and was awarded a Purple Heart. He married Kay Hanegan. He died on December 30, 2008.
