Signa Hallgren Hubbert correspondence
Scope and Contents note
Original handwritten correspondence of Signa Hallgren Hubbert and her husband, Louis B. Hubbert, 1917-1945. Signa and Louis exchange letters with each other and with Mrs. G. F. Hallgren, Signa’s mother; Captain Henry W. Hallgren, Signa’s father; and Signa’s siblings. Included is a two page typed document called “My California Visit” written by an unknown author who refers to both Signa and Louis. The collection also includes Signa Hallgren’s 5th Grade Report, 1901, in a 4 by 6 inch book.

Biographical History
Signa Freeda Hallgren Hubbert was born December 4, 1890 in Brokenstraw, Warren, Pennsylvania to Swedish Gustaf F. Hallgren and Ida M. Danielson. She married Louis Blake Hubbert on September 17, 1919 in Los Angeles, California. She died June 10, 1989 in Provo, Utah.
