Discussion in the meeting focused on the guild's decision to institute a loyalty oath on its members, and the repercussions of that decision. Includes debate by guild president Joseph L. Mankiewicz and Cecil B. DeMille. Copy has been annotated and corrected by an unknown attendee.

Administrative history The Screen Directors Guild was established in 1936 as a labor union to protect the interests of film directors in the United States. The organization was renamed the Directors Guild of America in 1960.
