Biographical / Historical

Loretta Young was an Academy Award winning American actress. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on 6 January 1913. She won an Oscar in 1947 for her performance in The Farmer's Daughter and three Emmys for her show, the Loretta Young Show. She died on 12 August 2000. Carole Lombard was an Oscar-nominated American actress. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on 6 October 1908. She became one of Hollywood's top comedy actresses in the 1930s, and she married Clark Gable on 29 March 1939. She died in a plane crash on 16 January 1942.
