This collection contains nine portraits of members of the George Teasdale family taken by Utah photographers. Identified in the photographs are George Teasdale, Matilda E.P. Teasdale, Lorenzo Teasdale, George W. Teasdale, and some of his children.

Biographical / Historical
George Teasdale was born in London, England, on 8 December 1831. He was baptized into the LDS Church on 8 August 1852. In 1859 he was called to preside over the Scottish mission, which included the Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Dundee conference, and in 1882 he was called to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. He died 9 June 1907.
