Scope and Contents
The collection contains brochures, photographs, newspaper clippings,programs, and correspondence relating to the formation, projects, and meetings of the American Pioneer Trails Association, 1938-1943. Included are historical sketches and photographs of monuments erected at historical sites along various pioneer trails in the American West. Also included are charters and bylaws of various trail memorial associations and correspondence with Le Roy Hafen, an history professor at Brigham Young University.
