Scope and Contents

Collection includes correspondence between S. Norman Lee and his daughter Ora from the period of 1902 to 1963. Includes some additional letters written by Lee's wife Ida, and his parents S. Nielsen and Emma Lee. Collection also includes an autobiography by Lee, and biography of Lee by William L. Knecht.

Biographical History

S. Norman Lee (1875-1963) was a businessman in Brigham City, Utah, a Mormon missionary, associate editor of the "Millennial Star" in England from 1909 to 1911, president of the Box Elder Stake of the Mormon Church from 1936 to 1943, and patriarch of that stake from 1945 to his death in 1963.
