Biographical History
John Daniel Thompson McAllister (1827-1910) was a Mormon convert who became the president of the St. George and Manti LDS temples.
John Daniel Thompson McAllister was born in Lewes, Delaware on February 19, 1827. He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Philadelphia in 1844 and emigrated to Utah in 1851. He was president of the St. George and Manti LDS temples. He died January 21, 1910 in St. George, Utah and is buried in the St. George city cemetery.
