Biographical History
Harran Hall Haynie was born in May 1900, to Robert M. Haynie and Lydia Stover Haynie in Manassa, Colorado. He left for an LDS mission to Samoa on May 26, 1921. In 1922, he transferred to the Western States Mission where Harold B. Lee was one of his mission companions. He was released September 7, 1922. He married Mary Louvina Manning on March 26, 1924, in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He became registered embalmer in 1931 and later owned a NAPA Auto parts store in Alamosa, Colorado. He died January 19, 1989, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
