Collection contains letters, genealogical group sheets and pedigrees, a book of remembrance, and a hymn related to the Roylance family, dating from 1853 to 1978. Also includes the records of the Roylance Family Organization from 1970 to 1978.

Biographical History
The Roylance name most likely comes from Ryland or Riland, which can be traced back to “Robert de Rilandes" during the time of King Henry 3rd (1216-1272). This particular branch of the Roylance family (or at least from the material) goes back to Thomas Roylance, about 1635 in Chesire, England.

Contains letters from 1853-1894 as well as a transcription of one of the letters on transparencies; group sheets and pedigree charts; papers from the Roylance Family Organization; a microfilm of the book of remembrance and the book of remembrance itself. The book of remembrance contains: origin of name and family; group sheets, pedigree charts, and family records starting with Thomas Roylance (abt. 1635); map of homes built by Roylance families; constitution, programs, letters, invitations to family reunions, pictures, registers, and pictures of Roylance Family Organization.
