Biographical note
Barnard Johnson Nicholls (1898-1956) was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Samoan Islands in the early 1920s. He later married Berenice Larsen, and died in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Received in 2006 donation from Victor and Deanne Purdy, who are the home teachers of Mrs. Madsen. Deanne Purdy created the DVD and Mrs. Madsen retains the intellectual property of the DVD and journal.
