William Franklin Pratt diary
Scope and Contents
Missionary diary kept by William Franklin Pratt from 1899-1900 while he was serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the British Isles. Diary is approximately three hundred pages in length and has fairly descriptive entries. A note on the inside cover reads, "W. F. Pratt Franklin Oneida Co Idaho. Bought in Philadelphia Pa. Feb 14. 1899."

Biographical note
William Franklin Pratt was born 28 December 1877 in Oxford, Franklin County, Idaho, to Charlotte Chandler Parkinson and William Jared Pratt. He married Martha Francis Hadfield on 21 December 1898 in Logan, Utah. Died 3 October 1946 in Preston, Franklin County, Idaho. Served a mission in the British Isles sometime from 1899 to approximately 1901.
