The collection contains professional and personal materials, as well as books from the personal library, of Steven White. This collection contains includes pewter statues and accompanying books regarding US presidents to Pres. Carter (ca. 1980); audiocassette tapes; beta videotapes; toys; architectural information binder; memorabilia, including commemorative plates, coins, plaques, paperweights, etc.; books; framed photographs; photograph albums; scrapbooks; Genealogical Instruction Manual; notes from Montreal District Conference; stake leadership personal notes; Public Communications Advisory Council stake subcommittee report; Church periodicals; Church literature; Primary childrens scrapbook; Public Communications Guide; BYU publications; glass containers of coal; shell necklaces; Bechtel News volumes 11-13; framed correspondence; framed artwork; ruler; slide rule; magnifying glass fixture; book of remembrance; bronze artifact; bronze calendar; bookends; wood box and hard hat.

Biographical History
Steven White was born on October 3, 1928 in Loma Linda, California. He studied business at the University of California-Berkeley. After graduating and while working in Livermore, California, he joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was recruited in 1961 to join Bechtel Corporation's Legal Department as department and contracts manager. During his twenty-seven years at Bechtel, he held various positions, including president of Bechtel Investments, Inc. Steve was a member of the Bechtel Executive Committee the organizations highest executive body longer than any nonfamily member in the firms history. Steven White died on December 16, 1988.

Custodial History
Donation was accepted in the summer, 2005. Prof. and personal materials, library of the donor's deceased husband, Steven White. The donor is a member of the HBLL Friends Board, and her donation was accepted at the beheast of the library director, Randy Olsen.
