Biography : Henry Hart Boley
Scope and Contents
Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typewritten biography. Henry Hart Boley was born in Pennsylvania, and his parents came from Berlin, Germany. The family joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and moved to Nauvoo, Illinois. He accidenally shot himself in 1843. Henry Boley came to Uah in 1849 and later settled in American Fork. He had twelve children and died in 1876 from the "lingering affects of the gun wound inflicted while standing guard at the Temple of Nauvoo."
