Scope and Contents
Includes a 525-page autobiography, completed in 1994, and a five-page autobiographical sketch dated 1995. The material details her early life as a Mormon in Colonia Juarez, Mexico; musical talents, especially in piano; work as a school teacher; family activities; travels; and temple and family history work. Autobiography contains significant information about her husband, Egbert Daniel (Buster) Brown, and other family members, and includes numerous photographic images. Autobiographical sketches are included for Egbert Daniel Brown and his first wife, Irene Lillywhite Brown.

Custodial History
Author gave this material to Max Berryessa, historian of the Brigham Young University Emeritus Alumnus Association, at the latter's invitation. Berryessa passed it to Brian Reeves, University Archivist, on 9 September 1998. Viva, the author, was a resident of Provo at the time of donation. She briefly attended BYU a couple of different times.
