Louis C. Zucker papers
Scope and Contents
Correspondence, petitions, student papers, newspaper clippings, and miscellaneous items. The clippings relate to research Zucker made on the poet William Ellery Leonard (1876-1944). The petitions were designed to get the U. S. and the U. N. to take action in defense of Israel just prior to the Six Day War of 1967. The correspondence is personal in nature and also deals with Zucker's activities in Jewish organizations. Also included is a typescript of "Circe: ein dramatisches Gedicht" by Karl August Tacke.
