Correspondence, personal and published writings, research notes, newspaper clippings, postcards, photographs, paintings, and memorabilia. The collection relates largely to Dillman's studies on the Ute Indians and on the Uintah Basin of Utah.

Biographical History
Teacher, author, historian, and researcher on the topics of Ute Indian history, ethnography, and archaeology. She was called "Woman of many baskets" by the Utes because of her interest in collecting artifacts.

Custodial History
The collection was originally donated to the Museum of Peoples and Cultures at Brigham Young University. The archival segment of it was transferred to the Department of Archives and Manuscripts in the BYU Library in 1989.
