Daniels family papers
Scope and Contents
Typewritten and printed genealogy of the Daniels family. Also included is a scrapbook of newspaper clippings dealing with the deaths of William Cooke Daniels and his wife, Cecily Daniels. William was in Argentina when he died in March of 1918. He was an author, soldier, and a prominent businessman who lived in Denver, Colorado. Cecily Daniels died in Switzerland of pneumonia. She had turned over her estate in Switzerland to care for wounded allied soldiers in World War I and was active in aiding them.
