Scope and Contents
A bound collection of ghost stories written by Grovecrest Elementary School faculty and staff as part of an assignment from Principal Scott Westover in the late 1980s or early 1990s. Each story is about an experience at Grovecrest, and most include a named author, though often "Mrs." and "Miss" are used in place of first names.

Biographical / Historical
Grovecrest Elementary School was the second elementary school to be built in Pleasant Grove, Utah, after World War II. Construction on the school began in March 1954, and was completed in 1955. Donna Ash was appointed the first principal of Grovecrest Elementary School and was the first woman principal to serve in the Alpine School District. The school has had additions and renovations several times since and was still in operation as of 2023.
