General Note

Two-part letter written to William Wines Phelps in Kirtland, Ohio, dated July 29, 1835. Item includes a letter from Sally Phelps, Liberty, Clay County, Missouri. She states that she would write more if she could write better; that the children are doing well in school; that she wants the house shingled; that Ira has taken charge of his gun; mentions "Rachil," "Sister March," Brother Abbott, and Cyrus Daniels; and that Sarah was baptized. On the back is a letter to Phelps from Alvin C. Graves. He states that has just returned from Jackson County and was not molested; he also discusses the crops that are coming in.
