Note on verso: and following the Z[...] trail- all new to me. Found Calif very cool and comfortable and everyone peppy. Did Pat get the bearskin? I had it insured, so if it didn't get there, let me know. Glowing letters from Carol from Europe. She's very good about writing. If you think of it send me Lillian's letter or anyway her address. Hope you haven't smeltered as the shore [...] love you all Dolly.
