General Note

Cover made out of enough newspaper to seem as thick as thin cardboard, labeled in purple ink "Book 11th." Thin paper, lined faintly in blue. Numbered in the upper corners in pencil. Written in faded black ink, looks brown in places. Pages 1, 2, 29, 96 and 87 blank. A section of pages located between pages numbered 86 and 87 has been removed. There were 22 pages in this section. The binding of the book consists of pages sewn together with coarse black thread. The pages are no longer attached to the outside cover of the journal.
