Diary written by Huntington between 1843 and 1844. The diary includes a description of his birth, joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and moving to Kirtland, Ohio, to Far West, Missouri, and to Nauvoo, Illinois. Describes his work as a carpenter's apprentice, his ordination as an Elder, and his mission served in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. Also includes mentions of the imprisonment of Joseph Smith, being part of a battalion going to protect Joseph and Hyrum Smith, and their martyrdom. Following their deaths, Huntington mentions making a cane from the box used to bring Joseph Smith's corpse to Nauvoo, and describes administering to by Heber C. Kimball and Brigham Young.
