Scope and Contents

Mari Jorgensen collected personal narratives dealing with the topic of female sexuality and how it's viewed by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Included are personal narratives that discuss how women are often portrayed as frigid or having a lesser sex drive, or evil seductresses, beliefs that sexuality is always a sin, the idea that ignorance isn't always bliss, and a healthy perspective on sexuality. Project was written for an English 392 class taught at Brigham Young University during Winter semester 1994.
