Materials contain a history of George Holmes regarding his service in the U.S. Army during World War II. Includes autobiography and a short biographical outline of Holmes's life written by his wife, Clara Holmes. Discusses a patrol in Germany in which he was severely wounded and several of his comrades killed. Dated approximately 1999.
