"When I was a junior companion--" : personal narratives from junior companions / Amanda Endsley, 1997
Scope and Contents note
Endsley collected narratives from returned missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints about their experiences as junior companions. Included are stories of a missionary getting offered a beer and then being led out of a house at gunpoint, a sister missionary accidentally saying in another language that she held the priesthood, and a sister missionary unknowingly eating goat tongue and then vomiting it up later. The project was collected for an English 392 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1997.
