Materials contain documents regarding the military experiences of Herman Henry Berges in the U.S. Army during World War II as a medic and runner. Also mentions his post-war conversion to the Latter-day Saint faith, which he attributes in part to his wartime experiences. Included are photographs of Berges in military dress, photocopied newspaper clippings, and a photocopy of a "Story of the 103rd Infantry Division" pamphlet.
